Your site reports
on itself.
Not any more.

Every material that arrives is recorded at the gate, price-checked, photo-backed — and on your screen before the truck leaves. Pay against verified reality, not the site's word.

01 · The problem

Money doesn't leak in the report.
It leaks before the report is written.

A goods-receipt note matches two records the site controls: the order, and what the site says arrived. If the storekeeper and the supplier agree, the software records the theft faithfully.

INFLATEDLane B
The ₹80 handle, billed at ₹250
Small-item purchases are where padding hides. Nobody re-prices a hardware bill line by line — so nobody catches it.
Typical petty-spend padding8–20%
PHANTOMLane A
The truck that never came
A challan, a signature, a payment. No delivery. Two-way matching signs it off because both records sit on the site's side.

SHORTLane A
400 bags on paper, 320 on site
Quantity written, not measured. By the time the monthly reconciliation runs, the material and the memory are both gone.

02 · The engine

Three records. One truth.
Then the money moves.

The third leg is the one the audited party doesn't control. That's the whole product.

What the site says
Site staff log the truck in under a minute: pick the type, measure one height. The backend does the volume math, never the storekeeper.

Materials arrive two ways.
Both get verified.

LANE AMeasurable bulk
Cement, steel, sand, gitti — anything trucked
Bags for cement. For aggregates: pick the truck type, measure one material height. Volume is computed server-side with a per-truck fill factor that corrects the box method's over-estimate. The storekeeper never does math — and never chooses the number.

LANE BGeneral items
Hardware, fittings, electricals — the petty spend nobody audits
We never count individual units. We check the money and the paper — where small-item fraud actually lives. Spot purchases from the shop down the road are allowed, auto-marked off-PO, rate-checked, and rolled up per site per month.

08 · Separation of duties

The one who enters
can't be the one who pays.

Contractor staff enter. An owner-side PM approves. You hold payment authority. Site staff never fetch a money column — enforced at the data layer, not hidden in the UI.

09 · Getting started

One site, one week.
Nobody changes tools.

Contec is a bolt-on: it sits on top of whatever your site already runs. Site staff log in on the web — no app store, no device rollout, no procurement migration.

01
Set up masters
Projects, materials, units, truck types and — the important one — your rate per material. That rate becomes the benchmark every bill is checked against.
Day 1
02
Invite the site
Contractor staff get a web login scoped to the projects you assign. No money columns, ever — enforced in the data layer.
Day 1–2
03
Log deliveries
The site records inward entries as trucks arrive. Under a minute each, no math, no paper duplicate.
Week 1
04
Review exceptions
You watch the portfolio figure move and review only what's flagged. Payment approvals hang off confirmed deliveries.

10 · Straight answers

The questions owners actually ask.

Do we have to stop using our current software?
No. Contec is deliberately a bolt-on — it sits on top of whatever the site already runs, including a competitor's platform. We don't chase scheduling, RFIs, punch lists or full billing.
Is this an accounting system?
No. Contec verifies deliveries and gates payment; your ledger stays where it is. Spend here means value of materials received, recognised on submission.
What stops the site from staging the photos?
Nothing stops a staged photo outright — so we record how each photo was captured and treat it as a trust level, not a yes/no. Crucially the rate, duplicate and order checks don't depend on the photo at all.
What about sites with no weighbridge?
That's the normal case today. Aggregates are measured by truck box volume × a calibrated fill factor, and we're explicit that height is the quantity signal until a weighbridge or gate camera exists.
Can site staff see what we're spending?
No. Site staff queries never fetch money columns, and aggregate spend queries throw for their role. It's a data-layer boundary, not a hidden button.
Can they log a purchase with no PO?
Yes — spot cash from the shop down the road is explicitly supported. It's allowed, auto-marked off-PO, rate-checked, and rolled up so you see total off-PO spend per site per month.

See it against
your own site.

Twenty minutes, one project, your real materials and rates. We'll show you what a month of deliveries looks like when nobody can edit the evidence.
